Divorce House
The spaces we inhabit, consciously or unconsciously, become outward expressions of our selves, our struggles, our histories, out hopes, our lives. Divorce House is a collection of images taken during two days in April, 2013. They are faint echoes that resonate through walls and windows of this home and through the objects inside it. None of these images attempt to answer why, nor do they suggest a way forward. They simply are, betwixt and between yesterday and tomorrow, of things unseeable, of lives passing into time. They are images of objects in time, that were. In those objects we can hear a small sound of what was. And within that small sound, we can hear tiny echoes of ourselves.
